When favorite SATC fashion icon finally got the chance to create her own fragrance line and fulfill, what she says, has been a dream since childhood, she was prepared. Particularly intrigued with the relationship between smell and emotion, Parker sites certain surrounding scents the keys to many of her memories, and admits that her mother’s perfume, Estée Lauder’s White Linen, has remained her unintentional inspiration. Her hope for her two fragrance lines, Lovely and Covet, were that they’d be quiet, feminine, timeless and ageless, and dressed in bottles just as stylish as she. Success!
